Welcome to the Casa Azul of Narbonne, a signature suite where the poetry of Frida's colours envelops you in a unique atmosphere.
Here, the experience is a true disconnection: a small corner of Mexico in the heart of the city. Perfectly quiet with a garden view, 3 min from the station and 5 min from the market halls, this jewel invites you to savour a singular interlude, between inspiration and serenity.
We spent ninety days of construction seeking the right distance between homage and invention. Between fidelity to an icon and the freedom to imagine the space she would have loved to inhabit. The Casa Azul blue was reformulated with a Toulouse painter; the Talavera ceramics arrived in a broken wooden crate halfway through — everything had to be redone.
Here you will find a collection of Frida's travel notebooks, reproductions of her correspondence with Diego, an open kitchen where you prepare your morning café de olla, and — new this season — a small wrought-iron swing on the terrace, exactly what is needed to suspend a warm evening between two glasses.
